Midland Public School Board Candidates Forum.
Five candidates are running for 4 open seats.
They are incumbents Lynn Baker, Angela Branstadt, Pam Singer, and challengers Mark Marinan and Patrick Frazee.

A school millage renewal question will also be on the November ballot.

The forum is cosponsored by the Midland branch of AAUW and the Midland Area LWV.

Candidate Forum - 36th District State Senate.
Candidates Joe Lukasiewicz (Democrat) and Jim Stamas (Republican) are vying for the position vacated by John Moolenaar, who is seeking the 4th Congressional District seat. We're looking forward to responses from the candidates that will help voters understand their positions on the critical issues facing our state government.

Your polling place. Election Day, VOTE!. The ballot will include candidates for Michigan Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, US senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Legislature Representative, Members of the State Board of Education, Regents of the University of Michigan, Trustees of Michigan State University, Governors of Wayne State University, Midland County Prosecuting Attorney, District Commissioner, Justices of the Supreme Court, Judges of the Court of Appeals, Midland Circuit and District Court Judges, Trustees of Delta Community College, Members of the Intermediate School Board and local school boards.
There will also be two state proposals dealing with wolf hunting and the role of the Natural Resources Council and two county millage proposals one for renewal of the gypsy moth suppression millage and one for additional millage for roads. If you are in the Midland Public Schools district, a request for a millage renewal is also on the ballot.

Prepare in advance for dealing with this long ballot. Go to
